Music is a vibrant part of worship and congregational life at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church. It takes the participation and enthusiasm of many to create the magic and beauty of music that warms and inspires our worship services. St. Martin's was founded in 1874 as a German Lutheran congregation because of the meeting of some German businessmen and a Lutheran Circuit Rider, Rev. Ernest Idle. We are a church with a strong identity for traditional choral worship and strong musical liturgy. In 1991, the church was privileged to install a pipe organ which is used every week for worship services and for rehearsals, concerts, and local organ students.
